Texture

Hi there everyone.

Neil here to host the next challenge. Thanks for all the lovely entries for the last challenge and don't forget to check back next Friday for the winner announcement.

So, onto this challenge and we want to see some texture on your projects! I love texture and think it adds so much to a piece of work. It doesn't need to be complicated; some simple embossing can make a big difference. There are loads of techniques using paper as well as loads of pastes and powders to use so let's have fun and add some texture dimension this week.

All the challenge rules are on the sidebar and as ever, there is a £10.00 Stamp Man voucher for the winner and the coveted blinkie for the runners up!
The DT have been hard at work and here is what they've been doing to inspire you. Follow the links to their blog to get more detail on what they've done.

  4. Well it has been a while since I have contributed to a challenge, will try and do so more this year. This really was a practice to see if I could remember how to post on these challenges. A couple of ideas of what to do with skeleton leaves.

  10. Great challenge! Wonderful work by the DT. Unfortunately I missed the deadline. I'm pretty satisfied with my first attempt of creating a textured card: http://artyventure.wordpress.com/2012/02/17/heartfelt-thanks/ so thanks for the challenge.
