Challenge # 13 The Stamp Man, Blog Hop, Challenge, and Award Event for 2010

Thank you to everyone who entered our anything goes tag challenge, so many beautiful tags!  The Top 5 will be announced soon and will be listed on the separate Challenge Winner’s page (under the header).

We are doing something a little different for Challenge # 13.  Last year we held our first awards event, the awards were for proudly presenting your best/favourite crafting project you feel you made during the year.   We are going to hold it again this year but we are linking it with our fortnightly Challenge.

We would like you to join in the challenge, which is to show us your best/favourite project of 2010.  The award blinkie is just a nice random award for anyone that joins in.  Display your award blinkie on your sidebar with a link back to this blog.

The most important part of this is that we would like you all to have fun and enjoy taking time to look back on your crafting over the last year, so pick something you have made that you are particularly proud of and feel was your best/favourite work of 2010.

We are also holding a blog hop!  As you go through the blog hop you will see that the ladies on the design team have shared their favourite challenge projects with you too.  Their cards are shown below as usual but visiting their blogs will give more details about their projects, also they will be giving you clues for a chance to win prizes!

For this challenge and the blog hop, prizes will be randomly picked and given to those that have completed the following
  • Join in the actual challenge with your best/favourite project linked with Inlinkz as usual
  • Take your award blinkie with pride and display it on your sidebar with a link back to here.
  • Follow your way around the blog hop in the order you are given along the way, collect all the letters/code you will find on each blog. Write these down then work out the answer when the blog hop is finished.
  • Leave a comment on ALL the blogs you visit in the blog hop
  • Post our event blinkie onto your blogs or a post about the event with your best/favourite project
  • Email the answer to: thestampman@btconnect.com by 9pm (GMT) on Thursday 13th January 2011.  Please put blog hop answer as the email title
If you get carried away looking through the work on the blogs you visit and run out of time to complete the hop that day, make a note of where you stop and start again another day.  You have 2 weeks to complete the awards, challenge and the blog hop, so there is no rush to get to the end, enjoy the journey and admire the scenery along the way!

The blog hop will start at the Main Stamp Man blog, where you will also find out about the prizes!!!

After seeing photos of the prizes, leaving a comment and collecting your first letter, you will be asked to come back here.

Your second letter is a P

Your next blog to visit (your 3rd) will be Janet, Clarky J’s Play Space.

Have fun hopping!!

Have a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!!!

Jill

Challenge # 10 Anything by Tim, Christmas theme

Hi All

I can't believe the wonderful response we had to the last challenge, I thought I must be the only crafter who hasn't got all their cards done and dusted, but you've proved me beautifully wrong. Beautifully that is with the beautiful entries we had. Over to Jill now to announce the winners...

Thanks Michelle, Michelle is your host for our new challenge and will explain more shortly but for now, later than usual, are the winners of our previous challenge.

It was really hard to select from so many entries and the DT were split between possible winners so I have decided to make them joint winners!!

The top prize of £10 of Stamp Man Gift Vouchers this time goes to 2 ladies
£10 each (I didn't split the prize money, lol!)

96 Tracy and 129 Rachel

Please can you both contact me at thestampman@btconnect.com to claim your prizes

Yes, I've failed with decisions for the next bit too, so I'm keeping all of the final 4 that I just couldn't whittle down to 3!

79 Lisa M
61 Janet Wilson
10 Janet
212 Vicky

Well done ladies!  Please take your blinkies from the sidebar:)

Thank you for entering and supporting our challenges, incredible work was shared again!

New Design Team members.
We did mention last time that Brenda would be joining our DT later but she has already joined us!  Joining Brenda as a newbie this time is Sue, you'll see their brilliant contributions below.  Do visit their blogs to get to know more about them.  Our other new teamie Sarah had a nasty car accident this week, although battered and bruised is miraculously OK.  Take time out, rest and take care Sarah x
OK, I'll hand you back to Michelle now

Jill

Now we aim to test your steadfastness to the winter theme by asking you to dig out your Tim Holtz tackle and start with the art........

So we are looking for Christmas entries that have any Tim Holtz product in the making of them. Wow does that leave it wide open. I wonder how many crafters don't own any TH?, if not we know the perfect place for you to grab a bargain or two (wink wink!) but I'll bet there are quite a few who do!

If you need a little inspiration to get you on the TH trail here are some fantastic samples from the DT
